Russia's entry into the Iran war? The billion-dollar aid deal is gaining traction

Western intelligence agencies have claimed that Russia is quietly sending drones and weapons to Iran, a charge Russia denies. Meanwhile, tensions in the Middle East are expected to escalate further.

Russia Enter in War

Western intelligence agencies have claimed that Russia is quietly sending drones, weapons, medicine, and food supplies to Iran amid the ongoing conflict in West Asia. According to a report, these supplies are being made in phases to support Iran, which is facing pressure from Israel and the United States.

Talks intensified after the attacks

The report states that talks between senior Russian and Iranian officials regarding the drone transfer began just days after the attacks on Tehran on February 28. This process began in early March and is expected to be completed by the end of the month.

Direct military aid for the first time?

If this claim proves true, it would be the first time in the current conflict that Russia is directly providing lethal military assistance to Iran. However, Russia has previously been assisting Iran through satellite imagery, targeting data, and intelligence.

Russia called the allegations fake.

Russia has rejected these claims. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that many fake news are currently being spread.

He acknowledged that talks between Russia and Iran are ongoing, but denied the allegations of military supplies.

Talk of continuing humanitarian aid

Russia recently confirmed sending more than 13 tons of medical supplies worth $20 million to Iran via Azerbaijan. Russia says it will continue to provide assistance on a humanitarian basis.

Iran gains ground in drone war

Iran is using drones extensively in the conflict, deploying over 3,000 so far. These drones are cheap and can be mass-produced, making them crucial in warfare.

Russia is also benefiting

Russia has also gained indirect benefits from this war. The blockage of the Strait of Hormuz has affected global oil supplies,

increasing demand for Russian oil. The United States has also granted exemptions to some countries to purchase Russian oil.

Discussion on air defense system

Iran is seeking advanced air defense systems from Russia. The two countries have reached an agreement for 500 Verba launchers and 2,500 missiles,

but Russia has currently refused to supply the S-400 system.

The world is watching the rising tensions

This entire development is likely to further escalate tensions in West Asia. If Russia's role becomes more apparent, this conflict could escalate into a wider conflict, which the entire world is watching.
